Site Welding Services
Fabrication and welding are the core disciplines of TWS and we are able to offer these services anywhere in the UK. In parallel with our workshop facility we offer on site welding services to the highest of standards, with a number of our welders holding MMA qualifications to BS EN 15614/1 & EN 287 to 6G.
To date and for example, we have supplied specialist on site welding resource for bridge welding projects, underground pipeline repairs and structural steelwork as well as labour as support and complement a customers own workshop personnel for the duration of specific project. Also, thanks to our high standards and rapid response, we enjoy a good relationship with a number of marine operators, supplying fabricators and welders very often at short notice for dockside ship repairs and/or modifications.
Together with our engineering division we offer a bespoke service, designed specifically around our customers’ specific requirements. To meet this need, we appoint a manager from the outset who will liaise directly with the customer, tailoring the service accordingly.
Supplying specialist labour in this way is proving to be increasingly popular to a number of our customers, as it negates the need to maintain their own workforce at such a high skill level - which can of course be quite expensive. To overcome this problem, TWS personnel can be hired in as and when necessary to cover this occasional need, thus reducing overhead costs in the process.
